    Wind at our house is picking up but it is coming from the south west so that might help but then we are close to the mountains and that is the usual direction even when the wind is coming from the north in Bishop.

    KTLA just had a news report showing aerial pictures, crazy view of big black swatch.
    Nothing on their web site.

    I also heard 4800 over the radio so who knows. It isn't out yet so let's hope for the lower number.

    I think I'm bad luck for Big Pine. Bought a house - Taboose fire, then the Glacier fire and now the Airport fire - Three years, three fires....
