Did some digging, not finding recent posts.

A) Top radar detectors? Seems like all the posts are older and tech changes pretty fast.

B) Top remote starts.

C) In your opinion, does a prinsu roof rack and an overland bed rack look too much aesthetically if the truck doesn't have a lift?

 

A) Your eyes.

B) There’s a couple I’ve seen on here. There is one that’s a plug and play and easy to install. Can’t recall the name.

C) Do what makes you happy. If you like it that’s all that counts.

B. Does your 2021 not have remote start? SR package? My 2020 TRD OR has factory remote start.

B) compustar or drone mobile if your rich

C) no its a roof rack who cares

 

Could be manual transmission. Toyota does not offer a remote start for MT models. Pretty sad to buy a TRD Sport Premium and get no remote start lol.

 

I had a top of the line radar detector maybe 7-8 years ago. Cost me maybe $400. Whatever it was it was the best one they had at the big box store I bought it from. It worked but it also picked up signals and would beep over lots of other crap as well - basically anything that put out any type of signal. I literally had anxiety all the time but could put it to the floor. It was appealing on cross country trips which I made often for work, no use in town. I tired though of the anxiety after a few months. The last straw lol was when I got pulled over bc they got me with aircraft radar which my device did not pick up. Threw it in the trash and went back to setting the cruise at 7 over.

 

I would go with a valentine one radar locator. Or better yet, slow down it’s a truck.

 

A - Its a truck not a race car, Your brakes are not great, you truck is tippy and can flip, just dont speed?

B - some 2020-2021 models have unlisted remote starts already on them. Triple tap the lock button and see if it starts

C - Depends on if you using the racks to hold things or just for looks.

I don’t have enough experience to answer all of those. But I do have picture of my old bed rack set up with a Prinsu right before I got a lift. Hope this helps, I personally thought it looked fine.

As long as you make sure to drive around fully loaded into malls etc. just trying to get a good IG pic. Just Kidding!!!

 

Ya but mainly bc the products from my perspective aren’t foolproof. Just my POV but I didn’t buy mine to go 10 over IYKWIM.

So the ticket I got took some coin to get fixed. I just didn’t find it worthwhile.

(General rule of thumb that's kept me out of trouble: keep it within 10% of the limit on the freeways and big cities, follow it to the exact letter in the small towns. My success rate from doing that has been higher than I got using any detector or waze-like app.)

Looking to also purchase some raptor lights

Was also looking for recommendations on some raptor lights for that mall shoot.

 

As someone else stated above, hit the lock button 3 times & see if it starts, it worked for my wife's Rav4, (salesman told her about their little secret) doesn't work for my Taco (MT)

 

Never been able to apply this to driving.

But its great life advice!
