Antenna for kenwood dnx9980hd advice please!

    2011 Tacoma TRD offroad
    Friends,
    I recently purchased a 2011 Tacoma trd offroad. There is a kenwood dnx9980hd in it that im trying to learn how to use. The radio will not pick up a signal; i figured do to the fact there is no antenna. I have the baja fenders so where the antenna would normally be there is nothing. What are my options? This is my first truck so i got alot to learn and will be counting on you chaps to help old bdb out.
