Antenna question

I am wantin a shorter antenna and I've found a couple I like but when I get back out to the adapters are too short and the threads in the truck are really deep down in there any ideas on where I can get one that I know will work do want to spend much

 

Not sure about the 12 but I did both of these on my 08.
They fit well reception sucked.
Car wash ate both of them.
I rescued them while the wash was running.
Indiana jones crap.
