    U can asked most the SB boys that went on runs with me they could always hear me pretty dam clear. And when someone else ou had a goo setup we would be the only ones that coul hear and talk to each other lol. For the price an what a CB is, it's a great CB. Not sure how it performs matched up to different antennas but with the 4' firefly firestik I wa more then happy. Just my 2¢
