You could make hoops that angle out away from the frame. I prefer the boxed type look though.

Any pictures of how you mounted your mud flaps? Trying to find a way of mounting some since my 35s stuff so nicely and want them behind the wheel well so the tire doesn't catch them.

Oil should be dirty after first two changes if they are new gears. If it's noisy though..well..could be several things

It isn't new gears only the Arb. Yeah it's like a rub/grinding sound and it sounds like it's rubbing those stupid baffles but I checked and they are installed correctly now

    Question....

So you put a locker in gears that were already setup and run... Don't you have undo everything and re-setup the backlash n such? Which I thought is a big no no, once gears are broke in you don't adjust or mess with backlash, am I wrong, right, kinda wrong... Lol :notsure:

No idea LOL but the shop is super legit and I already dropped the truck off. Only charged me 100$ for the install. He said you don't have to mess with gears and stuff during the install. He did check the pattern after he installed it

I've done a mod or two
ZUK (the gearinstalls.com guy) makes it seem like one can reset gears it may just take some time for the wear patterns to change to a perfectly desirable match. Plus people sell used gear sets all the time.

On the subject of putting an ARB in already setup gears, yes everything has to be redone as the carrier (the ARB unit) will have slightly different dimensions. So they are trying to shortcut you @anthony250f

Well I wouldn't go back to that shop.

The arb is NOT even close to the same as the stock carrier. My backlash was way off. You always have to reset the gears.

    Thus your shitty oil..

I can't remember exactly what he said about the backlash. I could tell he did remove the pinion and the gears had new paint on them and the pattern looked good. He is a super cool dude who knows what he's doing. Very highly recommended gear shop. Just a shitty situation
