I got a SportRack SR2415 Ridge Swing 4 bike rack. I'm looking for an anti-rattle locking hitch pin that will match threads with it and fit the 2017 Tacoma hitch.
    This one is two short:

I tried asking on etrailer.com, but they said there wasn't one that would fit the thicker Tacoma hitch, and that I would need to get an extender for my hitch.

Anyone else out there found one?

So, you are not going to like my answer.

Get yourself a drill press & a cobalt 1/2" drill bit and drill it out. A 5/8" one if you want a 5/8 pin.

These rack manufacturers tend to use British Whitworth standard threads and not UNC American Standard threads. (Swagman is Canadian so their idiocy is forgiven)

You will pay more for a 4" bolt than you will for the drill bit. You can get an anti rattle kit for the hitch that works on all of your stuff including trailers etc.

I guess you can try to find a M12 1.75, or M12 1.5 thread bolt at Lowes but you will find that these manufacturers are just crazy stupid.

Finally, these types of hitch locks are pointless. They can be removed in less than 5 seconds.

A 4.5" size 5/8 grade 8 bolt with a 5/16" hole drilled at the end will take longer to unbolt, and longer still if you run a good padlock through the hole.

Thanks. That is actually a pretty good idea. I thought of it, but wasn't sure about how to go about it. Now I know. The only other solution I came up with is to simply get 2 padlocks and a thick cable. One padlock to the hitch and run the cable around the rack and then the second padlock attaches to the rack. I see one good spot for it. That idea is simple but doesn't look clean. I'll see if I can get access to a drill press and consider your idea.

Same issue here looking for a 1/2" diameter pin for my 2017 tacoma for the Allen 552RR bike rack. All the locking pins I see are for 5/8" diameter to match the hitch receiver. I bought a 4", 1/2" diameter bolt at Home Depot which will work but it obviously won't lock. Any ideas?
