My 60k spark plug change is coming up in a few thousand miles (pretty picky about scheduled maintenance, used to be part of the maintenance manuals on aircraft), so I started getting supplies in hand for the 60k check. Air and cabin filter, plus spark plugs came from Rock Auto, gear lube was in stock, (five gallon pail), but the tube of dielectric grease had seen better days, so a 1 lb can from Amazon was $20 or so, enough to last a decade.

I had bought a 1lb can of high nickel anti-seize around 06 in Texas and paid $25 for the 1lb can from a bearing shop and thought I did OK compared to the little packets at the FLAP. While I was installing new star wheel drum brake adjustors a few weeks ago, I started scraping bottom of the can. Who knows how many spark plugs, suspension bolts, exhaust pipes, manifolds/header fasteners that one pound can protected...

And I started looking slowly and carefully. Amazon had a vendor with a CASE of 12 one pound cans for $40, with tax..and believe it or not, a case of 12 one pound cans of Rectorseal high nickel antiseize came in today...two weeks after ordering. I suspect the vendor has raised their prices...

Now I should have enough to last the next few decades...
