I used a dab when I replaced my plugs at 60k since I didn't want the next owner to create a thread here about stripping out a plug when they replace them.

It won't matter for me since I am never replacing them again.

I use AS on the rear of my wheel rims. I put a light coat on the contact points where the rim meets the rotor or brake drum. The alloy wheels tend to corrode onto the iron surfaces of the hubs. A little bit does the trick.

Those are NGK engineers, not every day mechanics. They don't need to deal with stuck plugs on a daily basis.
I've used Anti-seize since 1970 and never had any issues using it.

Every anti-seize I've ever used is good to 2500*f or higher. I would guess folks were using grease. or oil, and not anti-seize.

That's for the filler, typically nickel, not the carrier oil. Also note the adiabatic flame temperature of gasoline is around 3800F.

We used Milk Of Magnesia on the Combuster Plug on the GE-90, never seized or gummed up.
