2nd gen tailgate hinge that's had metal formed and welded in the slot to keep your tailgate from being removed.
I did this on my 12 & 15 for piece of mind. I can still remove my tailgate, just takes a few minutes, a wrench and a socket.
Hinge has been blasted and painted with self etching primer. (Buy a can of Duplicate-color and you're set)
Cost is $25 shipped via USPS priority.
Hinge came off of a 2007. I was able to bolt it directly to my 2015 so it should fit anything in between also.

After you receive and install this hinge you will need to send me yours as a core exchange.

Just an FYI since you're going with USPS, you can ship anywhere in the US using the flat rate box (this should fit in a small). This includes Hawaii and I'm sure Alaska. Just thought I'd help increase your chances of selling to a whopping 2 more states lol. Nice item, and GLWS!

You might have a bigger market if you could do something like this for the 3rd gens. Currently, there is nothing similar available.

    Good job!
