    Just providing an example of a simpler solution.

    Don't overthink it. It won't "leak" with just aluminum foil. Try it yourself and see. Your truck won't "see" the sensor when you try to use it.

    I'm talking about taking a piece of 6"x6" aluminum foil and wrapping it at night, when you're done for the day. Not a big deal to do.
