    Got my bracket in today.
Unfortunately I got an almost welded T40 bolt from the factory.

First attempt was with my Milwaukee M12 Fuel impact and a right angle adapter (didn’t take the tailgate off) but it wasn’t moving.

Second attempt was a 3/8 breaker bar with a 1/4 screw bit adapter while holding the tailgate at a 45 degree angle and I managed to break it free.

Went back to the Milwaukee to finish driving it off. Slid the bracket in and started the bolt by hand, tightened with the Milwaukee again.

used some rust-oleum flat black rattle can paint.

Sorry mods, I posted on the 2nd gen thread by error, Delete if needed. This is a 3rd gen bracket also made by the OP. GREAT MATERIALS AND FIT!

Edit: DO NOT LET THE T40 HEX BIT JUMP OR YOU WILL STRIP THE BOLT. I kept a lot of pressure near the head as I was breaking it free with both the impact and the breaker bar, not a single jump.

Got both my anti tweaker devices installed on our Tacomas. Great product at a good price! Pro-tip.....Harbor freight has the T-45 security bits if you order the security screw from Christian06.

Here's to another very - extremely - satisfied customer.

I've got to hand it to @christian06 ... he produces a well made product.

    :101010:

Add a little wrist action with a file on the edges, some 330/400 grit sandpaper, primer and pigmentation to match and ... Viola! Installed in under 5 minutes. The factory T40 screws are a beast (heck! they have teeth and know how to use 'em). We came to an accommodation following a protracted exchange with my impact drill.

Am hoping it's never ever tested but :yay:

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
Are the fender flares for sale?
