Antlers Shed Hunting

2 more today 17 for the year!!

 

Euro is a bow kill from2013-2014, I can’t remember. Got a decent amount of sheds and dead heads this year. Snow finally melted so went today and found 4. This thread is awesome!!! I’m a diehard bowhunter. Started shed hunting about 7-8 years ago when I really started to focus on bedding areas. Great way to pass the time, learn the land, and stay busy during the cold!

My buddy and I started bow hunting in 1975....The older we get the more it consumes us,it’s a year round chore for us.

 

Ya I’m the same. Pa is insane with pressure and guys. Moving to SC so looking forward to hunting down south again. Hunted Ohio last year and shot a nice 2.5yr old on public. Im a wierdo and like the challenge of hunting public.

 

Come to the West everything’s public, basically

 

Heavy pressure is an understatement here,we have outfitters everywhere you go around here.

 

Buckhuntin where ya at? I’m guessing Kansas or Illinois? I should draw Iowa in another year or so.

 

West central Illinois (Adams county) the problem with Illinois is that it’s been over hunted for years because our Broke Ass state won’t cut back on permits. Our glory days are a thing of the past, I think a lot of non-residents are still coming here based on past reputation. If you draw an Iowa tag,good for you.... They have a much better DNR.

Found shed number 18 and a deadhead today before the snow hit....up to 4 inches!!

 

Saved 2 today, probably a year or 2 late but im not picky

cool. I saw a neighbor had one sitting out by his horse trailer, I havent caught up to him to find out where he got it.
