I went Monday and Tuesday and didn't find anything except a chewed up spike. Going to see if I can try again Saturday. Good luck!

Elko county. But on private land. Before someone asks, yes I had written permission from the landowner and I called the game warden before leaving town just so he didn't waste his time chasing me down if someone called it in.

In my opinion the Nevada shed law is a misguided law. We should have banned ATV use while for looking for sheds, not closed the season for guys who like to wear out boot leather. ATVs and side by sides have made so many new roads, destroyed vegetation and harrassed more deer than those who park on the roads and hike will do in a lifetime. My two cents.

I totally agree with you, the out of towners picking up sheds didn't do us any favors......I probably dont leave sheds when I find them, they probably get packed out;-)

Isn't it that type of attitude that got us a shed season in the first place? And come on dude, you post up a link to the shed law to get me to not pick them up, and then you post that bull shit? :notsure:

I am not sure if they came off the Moose that have been living on His property I have seen pictures of this Summer I would put them in the Mid size range. I will ask for pictures.

This guy must have one awesome piece of property. Last year he found 2 dead bucks that grossed 200 plus inches.

CWD has been detected in northern Illinois and we have EHD state wide depending on the drought situation. 2012 was our last really bad year for EHD. The 2 this guy found, 1 was actually a deer he shot with a bow but didn’t find the deer until he was shed hunting. The other one he found...the death was unknown but both were over 200 inches. Both racks were salvaged.
