Antlers Shed Hunting

Well I think my shed hunting is winding down for this year. I found 33 and I might get out 1 or 2 more times. I also found a nice dead head today, I had pictures of this deer all fall and winter.

 

Hell yeah! I'm finally planning on going tomorrow, if its not pouring down.

 

Here’s the pic I promised you last week. Roughly 350 sheds in house and I have left another 50-60 at my buddy’s cabin.

 

Hell, no wonder you're tired. Prolly took 8 hours to put those out.

The top pic is the biggest dead head I've found. Prolly 140s. The bottom pic is my favorite. I love that hook. After seeing yours, I'm slightly embarrassed to post but what the hell.

Love that goofy thing. Years ago i found a dead head that was a spike on one side and had a droopy horn on the other. I found it under some high voltage power lines along with an elk antler that was triangular shape from base to the ends of ever point.

My buddy saw 4 bucks Friday. 3 had both sides, one was missing a side.
They may drop a little bit later down here due to the weather differences.
Just saying, there's a chance you could still get your 40 if you have time to go.
