    we had snow free ground for a while then its all covered back up again so it will be a while before I can even make it out...

    Yep, around Tucson they won’t even think about dropping until late March, and the majority will drop in April/May. Just enough time for it to get hot!

    Most bucks here won’t drop until May anyways... :facepalm:sucks for the guys in the states with these new shed hunting “seasons”, should be interesting to see how it affects the market for grade A brown antlers

    I can see in states like Montana where the snow gets balls deep basically everywhere. But the other places like AZ, NV and NM I could only see where the snow is deep deep, but I feel like more than likely the wildlife wouldn’t be there anyway.

    Yeah I feel the same, I mean I understand how critical it is to give them space and not stress them out during the winter months and early spring, but damn May? Even last year when Utah was the first to implement the closure, they only shut things down until April 1st. Kinda seems like another way for the agencies to exercise control over outdoorsmen, I’m sure the next thing we see will be licenses required to shed hunt.

    thats cool, maybe do a search nearby and can find the opposite sides. They claim its within 100yds of the other oneo_Obut I have yet to find a matching pair.
