Any 2009 Pyrite Mica's out there..?

Hey Guys... thought I would throw in a pic of my 2009 Pyrite Mica Double Cab PreRunner. I haven't done too much to her: Removed the TRD decals. Swapped 18" wheels from a 4Runner Urban Runner with 265/65/18 Hankook DynaPro ATMs. Added the Devil Horn emblem from Andres. Window Visors. Window Tint. Inside I made a custom USB charger from one of my knock-outs and added some amber LEDs below the climate control to light up the cup holder area.

 

Those wheels look bad ass!

 

The best part is they were FREE! Well, I had to trade my old 17" TRD rims, but no extra $$$. I work at a car dealership, and this guy traded in a Urban Runner. My boss was cool enough to let me swap the rims.

I also got a ridiculous deal in my Taco. I bought in Jan of 2011 with 19,000 miles for $21,000. KBB was over $28k. Heck, rough trade value was over $22k, and this thing was flawless. Best deal Ive ever had on a car purchase period.

So any suggestions on my next reasonably affordable mod? Was thinking HIDs, I need to get new housings and a HID kit right?

 

Only do a projector retrofit if you are going to do HID's; or you will just blind everyone else on the road. Probably a satoshi grill will look sick IMO

This being my first tw post. I thought it would be good to say I should be ordering my pyrite mica Double Cab 4x4 LB on Friday. It is sad to let my 1999 Tacoma 4x4 xtra cab go.

Nice truck and welcome! Personally I'm not a fan of chrome but as long as you like it. Looks like only a little face lift on the 12's otherwise same. Enjoy!

 

Thanks HB Taco. Nice truck yourself. I guess the chrome thing is generational. I'm an old guy and grew up with chrome. My son likes black.
