    not enough.
2017 that I bought in Aug of 2016. Like 400 miles shy of 100k. original owner. No drama to report. Has gone to many a road trips without any problems.

Bought new in December 2015. Added a canopy and bedrug. Also snow tires and wheels. Otherwise stock. I do have a Super Pacific X1 wedge camper on order.

77K miles and no problems other than a broken tailgate bushing and a windshield replacement.

Best vehicle in the snow that I have ever driven. Hope to be driving it for many more years.

Yes, it is the 2.7 and 5spd manual transmission. When I use cruise and go up an incline that it doesn't make enough power for in the gear it is in, the cruise will shut itself off after the speed decreases 10mph. It also shuts itself off when I push the clutch in to downshift.
I didn't weigh the trailer, but it was probably heavier than it should have been. I did my best to not come to a complete stop just to preserve the clutch. The Tacoma maintained speed just fine on the flats, and had to downshift for inclines, which is normal unloaded anyway. I went up steep inclines in 3rd gear at 3,500rpm with the hazzards on and maintained or passed the big rigs. I never felt like I was holding up traffic. The Tacoma felt confident when it comes to handling the weight and size of the trailer. And stopping was no problem with or without downshifting, I never had to panic stop.
The first time I drove in the Colorado mountains with another person, 2 dogs, and camping gear, the Tacoma felt underpowered. I've gotten used to the power of the Tacoma now and accept that it will never win any races but it will also never let me down. I drove into Yosemite from the West side, its a steep and steady climb. I was so focused on the scenery that I didn't mind that I was going slow. When I got mixed in with some traffic, I realized that they were also not going fast. Some faster, some slower, so I guess the Tacoma has enough power.
When you change your tires &/or wheels, pay attention to how much they weigh. I've felt a noticeable difference between the 3 sets I've had on. The width probably makes a difference too.

There are times when I think, "Why is everyone so crazy about doing their own maintenance? Why not leave it to the professionals?" And I get that there are several people who enjoy doing this type of work themselves and I'm just not one of those people. In your case, I think it's a pretty good argument against leaving the work to the professionals. Glad you still enjoy the truck though. Kind of reminds me of my first 4Runner. Frustrated the hell out of me, wife hated it, but damn I loved it (and still miss it).

I really want to make it out to Colorado this year, and this was one of my questions. Granted, I have a v6. I think your assessment is really profound and something a lot of people would do well to remember. People used to do a lot more with a lot less.

I just noticed a small spot of rust right next to my drivers side door sill as well. I'll have to see what I can do with that area since its a bit hard to get under the weatherseal

2016 DCLB, 104,XXX miles and no real issues to report. Had the rear diff replaced under warranty at around 20k; performed a 4x4 service at 50k and changed out the spark plugs at 100k. Replaced the OEM suspension with Bilstein 9100's at around 90k; really wish I had done that sooner. Truck runs awesome, no complaints. Love the thing.

2016 with 87k miles. Only issues have been blind spot monitoring system which was fixed with a newer sensor and parking break freezing and locking up the rear wheels in winter. I no longer use the parking break when it’s below freezing and have no issues at all. Not a big deal anyways because I have an automatic
