Start stop sucks. I will never buy a vehicle with it. At least not until I can confirm (first) the AC works correctly in the Texas summer.

Not likely. the hybrid tundra isn’t designed for mpg. It was designed for horsepower. It is made to fill in the turbo lag spooling times etc.

Yep. This is a tundra though. And they’re offering me $41k trade on my 2020 with 29k miles I paid $39k new for lol

My Audi has this and I turned it off and don't have to turn it off every time I drove it.

TFL just took delivery of a ‘22 Tundra and put up a video including real world mpg.

Saw the TFL Truck guys running their new Tundra-OR through the paces. Mileage not much worse than a Tacoma. They paid 61K plus TTL. Way outside my teachers salary; sticking with my Tacoma, which I really enjoy and does all require.

If I was in the market for a full size I would consider this along with all the other full sized offerings. Leaning towards the ram though

This is one of the best looking 2022 tundras Ive seen so far imo. A Trd Sport model.

One thing I noticed about the 2022 tundra, even though they have a composite inner bed like the tacoma Toyota is still selling a spray on bedliner option for $579. I dont know enough about spray on bedliner to know if it would adhere well to plastic or if there using some type of new version.

Doesn't get me super excited but maybe it will with the release of the Pro. Would be super reluctant to give up my manual pro too.

So, I went to the only dealer in my area who had a '22 Tundra in stock (SR5 CrewCab, 5.5, TRD OR, 4x4) and took a look (Truck was sold, pending delivery). I liked it a lot and my wife liked it too. I'm going to buy, its just a question of the config I want coming available, I'm not in a hurry.

I'm gonna start parting out slowly starting this year and thinking about trading in by end of the year.

I drove a limited double cab 22 this weekend at my dealer, its nice but not in love with it like my Taco, but I would like the room and extra capability / bed space. Pricing is rough a decently equipped SR5 OR with softex and bigger screen is close to $56-58k without markup, thats a hard pill to swallow, also been following on Tundras.com and FB and seeing issues already with acutators and turbos needing replaced (check engine lights showing up) small quality issues with weatherstripping and leaking cabs, at this point I'll be patient and wait.

No, but if I was in the market for a new truck, I would very seriously consider the current 5.7 Tundy. Nice truck for work and almost bullet proof reliability. Personally, I would wait a year or two for the bugs to get worked out.
