I'm not sure what you're trying to say here... Do you mean that being from Alabama means I should agree? You want to hear what who has to say? Who is taking what too personal?

I'm not taking anything too personally, if that's what you meant. I'm not an old guy (in my own mind, anyway), but I'm old enough to know that the impulses I had when I was a kid and still living by my parents' rules weren't always the best ones. Acting like a fool for your parents (or on TW.com) doesn't usually get you very far.

I have a good idea. Just slash your own tires. Then think of some elaborate story on why that would have happened.

light your truck on fire, the tires will be very worn after that.

You shouldn't be surprised by the response. Most guys on here are OK w/ people whose parents buy their Tacomas. It's a little irritating for those who have worked to pay for the truck themselves, but we realize that there are people out there who are fortunate enough to have nice things given to them. (I've been provided with plenty in my life, and I'm very grateful.)

What pisses people off is the guys who don't appreciate what they've been given. You've gotten some 'advice' on how to ruin your perfectly good tires. Take it... along with the criticism of your selfishness and myopic view of the world.
