depends on your states laws, but you would definitely need one of the big bore guns. 45 or 50 Cal

I have more money that I would like to admit in both my custom Marauder .25 and my Crosman 2400 KT (.22).

I also own a cheap Umarex single action army, and it’s pretty fun. Although I’ve already had to replace the main spring a few times.

Both rifles have a ton of parts and time thrown at them to be the best they can be for their main uses.

The Texan is available in a few different calibers, but all of them are very powerful. Often regarded as the worlds most power air rifles produced.

I have a Tim Wells signature 62 caliber blowgun and he has a video on YouTube of him killing a bear with it! Crazy stuff.

Anyone have a Crosman 2240XL? I just ordered one and I am interested in starting to mod it when it comes in. Any website recommendations for parts?

I have a Crosman 2400KT that I have thrown a ton of time and money into. Just be warned, like modifying our Tacos, these guns can be money pits.

If you don’t convert it to HPA the best increase in performance you will see is from either an upgraded valve, or simply port the valve yourself. Aside from that, a two stage trigger from a P-Rod makes a huge difference in the overall feel of the air gun.

I purchased the vast majority of my parts on EBay. Generally I would just type in “Crosman 24xx parts” and buy what caught my eye. They are like the 90’a Civics of the air rifle world, TONS of aftermarket options.

Is anyone still making the AR stock adapters for the 2240XL?

I have a .177 caliber air rifle, break barrel. It's the same wooden stock one that walmart used to sell, just a different name stamped on it. I get the best results with the crossman hollow point pellets. I've killed several rabbits in the back yard with it. I put a decent scope on it, and a better trigger. At 50 yards it will blow holes through both sides of a soup can with no problems. I just can't justify spending a grand or better on a .25 caliber air gun. But there are some badasssss ones out there.

The PCP market is much broader than it was even a few years ago. A decent rifle can be purchased for well under $500, much less $1k.

I have a sig mpx .177 the accuracy sucks but fun to shoot. I also have the Sig Break open 22 cal and that is a sweet tack driver. It loves the gamo redfires. It easily takes out chipmunks and woodchucks at 50 yards.

I have an inexpensive Remington Vantage 1200 in .177 that I purchased several years ago. Paid maybe 100 dollars for it. I replaced the crappy scope with a Golden Antler and put a better trigger in it. I can shoot a squirrel out of a tree at 40 yards with no problems, and rabbits don't have a chance with a good head shot. I take a small soup can and mount it on stake with the bottom facing me at 50 yards and shoot it till there's nothing but one big giant hole in it. The only thing I don't like about the gun is, the dam thing is heavy.

I have a Gamo Air break barrel rifle in a .22 cal pellet with an attached scope. It's my varmint air rifle that I use around the house to dispatch pesky mice, rats, skunks, gophers, and squirrels.
