    Hello all -

I have a 2019 TRD OR with the JBL system and I absolutely hate it. So, that being said, up into the attic I went to see what I had from previous installs. I'm definitely not against removing the head unit if I can keep the steering wheel controls. Ultimately I'd like to have the same sub setup as in this pic (it came from this site). Here is what I have:

    Audio Control LCQ-1

Rockford Fosgate Power 500db amp (old school, baby)

    Apline PDX-5 amp

Rockford Fosgate Punch PBR 300X4 (new and sealed)

Rockford Fosgate P400-1 amp (new and sealed)

Rockford Fosgate P3SD412 sub (new and sealed)

    6 channel RCA's (flat with f, r, s)

10 feet 4 gauge negative wire

18 feet 4 gauge power wire

2 Rockford Fosgate distribution blocks (RDF1)

The power and negative wire is from KnuKonceptz and has "4 gauge/Copper clad Aluminum/Ultra Flex

Is this good wire? What door speakers, head unit and anything else do you recommend?

    Appreciate any information/guidance.

Get the PAC AmpPro and don’t worry about swapping the head unit. This will get you flawless audio signal to pump into the LCQ-1.

Ditch the copper clad aluminum wire and get OFC (oxygen free copper)
I won’t touch CCA in my shop (and most other installers I know won’t either

Speakers are a huge subject. Ask 100 installers and you’ll get 100 different answers. Get the nicest ones you are willing to spend the money on.
