I currently have a stock 2018 TRD Off Road 4x4, im decently experience in off roading, all that's around me are sand dunes/trails and a few steep rocky inclines. Trying to explore what my truck can handle stock wise. Thank you

Try ONX off-road app. I also use GAIA, has tons of useful layers for off road/grid exploring.

Where are you located at? I'm in La Puente and I always go out to Barstow area for dirtbiking, it's also super fun to take the truck over there too. Hit me up

If you're experienced you'll be good to go then, Tacoma's are very capable.

When I was stationed there some ok, easy places were: burns canyon rd, old dale rd in the park, along with a few others. Most of these are just dirt roads though. Not rated trails. At least not in my eyes.
Closest to you that’s a challenge is the hammers/Johnson valley off that shit fuck of a highway; old women springs.

edit: you may want to drive around and research that area if you never been. There’s a few east trails, but there’s plenty of trails there that not good for stock vehicles. Especially the hammers.

Probably not a great idea to post your phone number on a publicly viewable web forum. $0.02

I think Death Valley is closed from the epic floods they just had. Any BLM land is a decent choice. Show up at the local BLM office and ask for suggestions/maps.

The Mojave Road is waiting for you when your confidence climbs some.
