I’m not big on light roasts. I like a good medium to dark roast usually. This is done pretty well as a light. This was a clean out the grinder blend so it might be even better with the next cup. May have to do some adjustments also for the new bean and run a few test brews to get it dialed in.

I also got my new espresso cup in the other day.

yeah sounds like the same page. i usually blend my own and i tend to start at about full city and tweak from there. their beans are great but about 30% of what i use.

This was my first time trying them. If the other is as good as this one I’m sold. Will continue trying new ones though. I like to change things up and not have the same thing over and over.

You know someone is serious when they start roasting their own beans. I normally use a Bonavita BV1800 drip machine that has the SCAA seal of approval. I use a Burr grinder, and grind my beans just before they go into the machine.

My niece gave me a Chemex pour-over, which is fantastic! If you ever want to get into the "pour over" coffee game, that's a fantastic place to start. The only down side is their filters are a little pricy. I bought a Bonavita electric water kettle with a gooseneck spout to use with the Chemex.

I gently rinse and reuse them more than just a few times.

No because I’m not a cheap ass. Just use a new filter every time.

It works fine. I rinse, soak all day, draining several times, and soak, dry out all night.
I figured it would work because I also use a hemp filter.
    Not about the money.

The kicking horse used to be our goto.

Nowadays we're on the bottomless rotator subscription.

Usually do it on french press because it's the best balance of taste and volume and amount of time needed to make it, for us.

My Gaggia Classic just broke :( I think the pump is shot. It turns on and gets hot but just recently it stopped pumping water. Not sure if I want to just try and fix it myself or just buy a new machine. I only paid $50 for it and had to replace the grouphead gasket and shower screen. Not sure if I want to upgrade or not.

I have a Silenzio grinder for spro, thing is a beast.
