My machine still hasn’t shipped. I’m getting very impatient. And annoyed.

They say 1-3 days for most shipments. The prosumer machines have to be tested I guess. But the order status hasn’t changed. Idk if it does until they ship. I should have ordered from ECS from Italy it would have been here already lol

I’ll take my chances. I’d be enjoying a nice cup of spro right now though! They have the rocket r58 for cheaper than they sell here. It’s actually where I bought my grinder from for a few hundred cheaper than anywhere in the states. And shipping took less than a week

They used UPS ground for free shipping. My next choice was like $120 for shipping 3-5 day fuck that. At least it comes with a 3 year warranty. And a plus since it’s coming from NY is the rona only sposed to lived a couple days on surfaces. It’ll be all dead before t gets here.

Nah it’s getting extra rona handling along the way. Just get a Clorox wipe and clean the box off. :)

@medic2230 worth every penny. I just pulled the best shot I’ve ever pulled. I’m gonna make like 10 espressos tomorrow

It’s gone to sleep tonight. I’ll take one tomorrow. I need to buy a bottomless portafilter still though for the extra flair factor

Forgot to shoot a video this morning. But pulled another perfect shot. I have a long way to go on steaming/frothing milk. The steam power on this is incredible and way more than I’m used to. I had to dump my first one out cuz it was ALL thick foam lol. Second one was better but still a bit too foamy. I went and used it anyway. Still mighty tasty.

I think that is what is going to be the hardest part to get used to is the steaming. Those machines really put the steam out compared to using a machine that takes a minute or so to steam your milk.

Yeah for sure. Pulling shots seems effortless so far. I kind of wish I had gotten the flow control module now, but I can always add it on later. But the steam is nutty. It’s a 2 hole tip instead of the 1 hole I had on the Gaggia (I had the rancillio Silva wand upgrade). But still, the steam power on this is easily 2-4x more powerful. It’s also on the left side of the machine instead of the right so while it’s a minor difference it still throws me off a little. I’ll get used to it within a day or two though. I just need to practice a few more. I may OD in caffeine today though
