Good job! How many times did it take before you were able to do that?

This one was pure luck. I’ve been trying to get latte art down for over a year. It is not easy. I usually try to do the heart, but it usually comes out looking like a nut sack

Delicious as always. I got the horchata yesterday at the mexican restaurant nearby. I usually grab a horchata to go so I can make horchata espressos

+1 For sweet marias, really great business. I finally splurged and bought a drum roaster from them. Fresh roasted beans is a total game changer, plus it's fun to give as gifts, its not often someone can get some beans and have the date that they were roasted on the package.

What drum roaster did you buy, and would you recommend it? I've been using the "popcorn popper" method, and since I roast outside, that gets a little cold during the winter...lol

Yea, after researching a bit I went with Behmor. https://www.sweetmarias.com/behmor-2000ab-plus-roaster.html It's a little harder to kind of customize a roast if you really want to get it into it, but the automatic setting puts a roast at medium/dark, which is what I like anyway. But otherwise, yea I would recommend. Easy to use, easy to clean, does it's job. There is an automatic shutoff though that is annoying and had me lose a pound of coffee one time because I wasn't around to click it off, but it always happens at a known point in the roast, so can be timed to make sure you get to it.

Nice! I really only want to roast about two cups of beans at a time. That takes me about 10-14 days to consume before I need to roast again.

Yea man. I was right there with you. Started with popcorn roaster. But wanted to be able to do larger amounts. Drum toaster is great, I think Behmor was the cheapest drum roaster I could find. But I’d be willing to bet any drum roaster would do its job fine, just might require more attention.

We (wife and I) just got a Breville Barista Express from our family as a combination housewarming and christmas gift!

We're really excited about being able to make espresso and lattes at home.

Anyone else have this machine, or have any tips on making drinks with it?

    for reference, its this one:

lol that's out of my price range.

But I already have the one I linked. I was asking more along the lines of general tips for using it and making espresso drinks.
