I have put almost 11k into my truck because of these forums and haven't touched my suspension yet except shackles.

and here I am looking at a $150 kit for my 2018, thinking it was pretty decent lol. I feel like it would be good enough(I could be very wrong here) for some minimal off road stuff. Not trying to climb any mountains, or go into some crazy pits!

Its has nothing to do with being manly. It's just smart. For the same price you could have 5100s with a decent coil size to achieve lift and improve quality. It would be a huge upgrade to stock + this kit. Not saying this wont work, just that in my opinion, theres better options. If you plan on running 285s then you will need to chop the cab mount. If you're trying to spend the least amount of money then a 5100 set up is a great way to do it.

I have seen the 5100s on some and run 285s all day, no rub and no cab chop. Our local 4wd shop has this set up and no issues at all.

That's awesome. I've heard of people having this work. I have also heard of people having this not work. It all depends on your set up. A majority of what I have read, people say that 285s locked and stuffed will rub. A CMC is worth considering.

Aftermarket offset vs stock offset wheels is where the rubbing comes into the foreplay
