My fabricator and I are planing to do a C63 swap. I've already ordered all the parts for it except for the shocks. I want 16" smooth bodies but we aren't sure if I will be able to use all the travel with a spring over setup. So I'm debating whether or not to get the 14s instead. Just wanted to ask around here for some input.

Chevy 63" leaf spring swap. The Chevy springs are longer, thus offer more droop. They are also not as stiff as ICON RXT which are very common. And due to them being from a full sized truck they lift pretty high even if you have a good amount of weight in the back. The swap is pretty popular among rock crawlers. I currently have the ICON RXT with 12" smooth bodies and I do not get full 12" of flex because the leaf springs are so stiff. With the Chevy leaf springs I will actually need limit straps or I will blow out the 12" shocks. The plan is to go up to 14" or ideally 16". But even the Chevy springs might not offer enough droop for a 16".
