I guess they got tired of spending money on them. I'm sure if you want to come pull them out you could have them

Just sold mine. I’d have left it in the bushes too if someone didn’t buy it, too much of a pain to maintain.

I see the one you hit, just barely poking out.

I still can’t see a 2nd boat for crying out loud! I need visual evidence.

Did it have an anchor up front by chance? That could have been your real problem.

Not gonna lie, I didn’t see it at first, and wondered how that other boat could have been in the way.

Ok! At this point I don’t think you need to get the coast guard involved. But there is a possibility you did exceed the no wake speed limit.

I’d probably tell insurance company that someone hit it with their boat, and pay deductible to get it fixed.

I’m not committing insurance fraud. And if I did I wouldn’t tell people. I have seen what happens on this forum when people do.

Depending on how much I get. I might be able to buy enough gear to make me forget about a little dent for awhile and fix it myself

PDR cannot fix stretched metal. I’ve never seen a PDR person who could use black magic to circumvent the laws of physics.

NOW my PDR guy fixed a dent I had in my bedside where the metal was stretched. Its not fixed 100% and the problem with stretched panels is they eff up the paint job from underneith. When the sun shines on my Super White bedside you can see the rippled paint.

Silver will show the paint damage more clearly than white.

IMO PDR is something you go with to keep costs down when you want to avoid making a claim.
You have already made your claim so get the 100% fix from your insurance.

PDR, bondo sculpt, repaint those panels, new flare, labor, install.

    My guess is $2,500

$3,464 is what the insurance estimator gave me minus my deductible . Now i have to talk to a specialist about the diminished value claim.

I do have a couple of body shop estimates. for just under and just over $2500 so you guys hit the nail on the head there

Is this counting as a collision claim?

If so I wouldn’t go for a deminished value claim on an accident when you are the liable party. Your premiums will go up to pay yourself for the value you lost yourself o_O

I figured if my premiums were going to go up. They would if I went for deminished value or not. I will ask when I talk to them though.

This is my first time ever filing a claim.
