The can opener is stronger than the can. 3500 bucks damage to his van.

to many to list, check the build thread
From the placement of the scratches on your bumper how did it not do damage to your fender or wheels tires? or is it just the angle of the picture?

Its just the pic. The bumper come straight out from that point a few inches. It makes a nice little ledge to store your tools on while working.

from yesterday. I also deflated my passenger front tire by accident - dirt got in the valve stem - easy fix thogh. got scratches on passenger side and bumper/armor carnage again. all while wheelin. o and gotta love the exterior spray on bedliner - actually offers pretty good protection on the sides from scrapes. o ya, busted my passenger tail light too.

My wife just backed into my rear qtr panel, despite a back up camera and proximity alarms going of like crazy. One estimate replaces the qtr panel and repaints for 1500 the other repaints for 500, I think I'm going with the second.

Slider will be installed in a couple weeks. There are already some smaller dents on the underside from not have sliders but it's not that noticeable.

I love the rear bumper except I wish i got the high-clearance model with the towing receiver and swing out tire carrier but he wasnt making them yet when I ordered mine

Last week I was coming out of a Wally World (Walmart for the uninformed) at like mindnight. NO other cars around. This van comes up behind me and seemingly stops...but doesn't seem to realize he's idleing and taps my bumper. No damage to either vehichles. Lucky for both of us. Especially him I must say...

Steel bar was bouncing across the freeway in front of me.
Tried to avoid it, but couldn't move left enough because of another car, no time to brake.

I was afraid it was going to puncture the bumper or rip up the front suspension... nope... heard "thump thump thump" as I went over it and saw it shoot out across the freeway to my right.
Got off the road and inspected for damage. Nothing on the nose or front suspension. Tires and wheels looked good.
Then I saw it.... a 6" long shallow crease with a small amount of paint damage at the front bottom corner of the right bedside.
Don't know HOW it managed to hit that area at that angle.

The weekend before I was heading home to visit friends. My trip was almost done and I was driving for 6 hours. I was backing into my friends driveway and I was using my mirrors and didn't look into the camera. Next thing I know, bam! I'm thrown back into my seat and I'm thinking to myself, wtf? I got out and realized I had backed into their stairs. I looked at the bumper and no damage, no movement of the bumper. Well it wasn't until I felt the bumper just under the black step part there was a small eraser size dent. No paint transfer from the truck, just paint came off the stairs(and no damage) lol. I texted my friend who was at work(works at Toyota) and he was laughing and more worried about my truck then his stairs.

About a year and a half ago I let my girlfriend (now ex-) drive my truck back home from supper after realizing I didn't have my wallet on me. In the 4 years we had dated, I had never let her drive any of my vehicles. She wasn't a bad driver, just clumsy at times. Since she had been wreck free for about a year, I figured no harm would come from the literally 2 minute drive home. I was wrong. First red light we stop at after turning out from the parking lot some highschool girls rear-end us. Figures.

Minimal damage. Minor dent in my bumper and lost one of the screw caps above the trailer hitch. It was more or less the circumstances that pissed me off.

Other than that just some minor scratches from trail brush.

Couple weeks ago i was loading a quad in the back, and being my bed is a bit narrow between the fender wells i got stuck, spun the ramps out from under the tires and flipped it off the back. Snapped the tailgate cable and slammed the tailgate down on the bumper. Put a nice dent across it. Before that i was hauling bicycles on a rack and the pedal made an awesome circle scratch on it. My tailgate has seen better days lol. Rest of the truck is good.
