Any downsides to a single piece drive shaft?

    I believe I got my leaf shims from Wheelers Offroad. They are cheap and go on the bottom of the leaf perch and are mounted using the Springs Center Bolt.

    After the post you quoted, I actually add 2 more 1/4" shims to the center carrier bearing mount to give me 1" of carrier bearing drop, and it actually got smoother. This all takes time and patience. I ended up adjusting the rear drive shaft 6 times, and each time I took it for a test drive and noted the difference. There is no cookie cutter approach to this, and if you have to pay a shop to figure it out you might as well forget it.

    Well it depends on which way you need your pinion to go. My blocks were fat side back however now t get my pinion angle and transfer caee angle parallel/offsetting angles I actually need about 3.5 degrees putting the pinion angle down now. At least I think I have that right. Am missing something?
