I'm planning on buying a set of BFG KO2s later this year, and I'm wondering if I should use my local dealer, or get them from Tire Rack.
Tire Rack would save me some money, since I will be traveling right next to their Indiana distribution center in September, and can pick them up there, saving on shipping, BUT, I did some research on consumer complaints, and they don't seem to have a very good reputation, due to lousy customer service and handling warranty issues.
My local tire dealer can order me the KO2s, but it I think it will cost me a bit more out the door, BUT, I have dealt with them for years, and they are good about following up on any issues.
Tire Rack is listing about $825+ tax or so for 4 picked up, but I'd have to pay my local guy for mounting and balancing, OR, my guy will do it for about $1000+ tax, out the door.
Opinions? Any experience with Tire Rack?

A little of this and a little of that.
i've used Tire Rack for tires, brake parts, and suspension parts for various vehicles over the years. No complaints. I've always had friendly, knowledgeable people to deal with.
