Yep. Front and rear shocks and a full replacement leaf pack. The only other thing you may want is new upper control arms. This would allow you to get a better alignment

No, I really appreciate that and that's what I need! I want to do this right and not afraid to ask. This is the guy doing it. Awesome dude and does all the work himself.

If you decide on just going with the simpler 3" lift, that's something that can easily be installed in someones driveway in 3-4 hours. Since you're in/near NC. there are plenty of members around that would help you install it for the price of beer.

Negative. Due to how the drop bracket lifts work, you don't need to replace your upper arms (UCAs)

What 3in lift woukd you recommend, or is it the fox one you posted? Also, I've read and been told 3in puts a lot of strain on the front. This is what he recommend.

Eh, it's really no more stress than any other lift kit. Though if you go a full 3" you'll probably want UCAs to get a good alignment. If you stay around 2.5" to 2.75" you can get away with stock uppers.

IMO what really makes or breaks how a truck looks really isn't the amount of lift so much as the tire itself. A truck on a ~3" lift on some aggressive 33s or 35s looks bad ass.

I appreciate it! Also, another sad question lolll. I see people saying running the 5100s all the way around. But, I thought there were just two shocks in the back? So when they say that what does that mean?

It's the RC 4 in suspension lift (drop bracket) no issues very light trim since I have 12.5 wide tire, feels great for me don't do much off road just slightly , if you really want to run 33's do a 4 not a 6 doesn't look right unless run 35

One for each corner. To lift the rear you use a full leaf pack, add a leaf aka AAL, or a mini pack aka 3 leaf aal, then there is blocks but not a lot of people suggest them here on the forums.

There are 4 shocks on the truck, two in front and two in the rear. They're referring to bilstein 5100s. Now, it's two different kinds of shocks, but they're still all 5100.

Here's a visual of the 4 shocks. As you can see, two different kinds.

    upload_2018-7-14_14-8-0.jpg

So all a shock does is it handles rebound from the spring. If you didn't have shocks, your ass would be bouncing down the road like crazy. In the front of the truck, the coil (pictured above) is what actually provides lift. These can be different lengths and firmness depending on someones set up.

In the rear, the leaf springs is what provides the lift/holds the weight of the truck.

Change the rears to fox performance the front are oem you are able to keep everything proportion with a drop bracket from factory which is good unless you go with adjustable Upper control arms more money, wheel are 20x10 with -24 offset

That's what the guy recommends if I went with the rough country, switch to 5100s bc of the RC shock. So if I went to order the 5100s I would order 4 and not 2? He said I would just need two to replace the ones with the kit.
