My opinion is that if a powered sub enclosure (Sound Ordinance, Bazooka, Kenwood, Infinity, etc) are not good enough for you, then you are looking at $400-450. $120 for a box, another $120 for a "reasonable" sub, and $200-250 for 200-250W of power. Don't forget the wiring too.

^It's not terrible but that amp is tiny for those subs. Each sub will only get 125RMS. So figure another $150 for a box and $30 for wiring. So that's roughly $430 if you install it yourself.

If you're just looking for a little more punch why not just get new speakers? You're going to give up nearly 100% of your storage behind the seats with a kit like that.

SwingCase, driver side. PVC Bike rack. Aftermarket stereo.
If I didnt need to get loud, I would order one of the "dual 10" sub boxes. Then I would cut off the driver side box, leaving the passenger side, and the amp mounting space.

Then get a decent 10" driver, an amp, and mount it on that side, keeping your driver side storage cubby behind the seat.

    Should run you:

    Box - $150
    Sub - $100
    Amp - $100
    Wiring -$ 30

Should come in around $400 bucks all said and done.

I dont know of any package deals.. but its a matter of opinion, as to buying used, but it can save ya some cash.

i paid attention to craigslist and saw some sweet deals on lots of stereo equipment, its just a matter of possibly dealing with sketchiness.

got my amp used for 50 bucks, got everything else new. While i was searching for used, I realized there are a ton of boxes on CL.

Also there are some cheap boxes available, just do a google search, ya get what ya pay for of course, some skimp on the thickness of MDF, I did see some 3/4" boxes for cheap, but I have never understood why boxes are so damn expensive maybe thats my inexperience.

I did this, but cut off the passenger side box such that the sub then ended up in the middle, with the amp board behind the passenger. This keeps the sub behind the middle seat. More balanced and symetrical that way :D

BTW, I bought the double sub box from Soundoffaudio for $130 shipped, cut off the box as above, finished the cut off box a bit, and sold it for $50.

Like how you'd have to fire it?

If you're going with that sub, in that enclosure, there's only one way it can sit. Behind your sit, facing the back of your seat (hope the box fits)

You have to find a box that fits the measurements, or find one that was custom made for the truck.

and if you don't know how to wire your car for a sub. Google that beyotch. You'll get a couple hundred thousand results.

5% Front strip and doors, 20% wrapped around the rest of the truck.
I got the kenwood party pack 10" although I could use a bigger amp it supplies enough to make it sound pretty dang good in an access cab.

I had 2 - 10" Pioneers in my Access cab, one behind each seat, but I took them out and have them laying around...

I just picked up this fucking monster. 15" of insanity, powered by my 1200w Sony Xplod amp... not a big fan of Sony stereo stuff, but it's done well.

It's starting to make me go deaf :-/ lol. Honestly, google is your best bet. Try eBay and Amazon, if nothing, then check Crutchfield. If still not... ya just might have to have a local audio shop make you one IF the box on your package deal doesn't fit.
