Did you ever do the Cab Mount Chop to prevent any rubbing?

Nope not yet. I went snow wheeling yesterday and didn't really have any rubbing. But that's not doing any serious crawling. I might do it later on, but so far so, so good.

Lots of people slam the KO2s. Work well for me. I tend to research product posts with positive reviews as it is easy to slam, whilst one might have to own a positive opinion.

What 17x9 wheels are you running? I am thinking about getting the matte black 17inch TRD wheels and mounting the 285 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. (Trying to say away from after market as much as possible) I am not sure using Matte Wheels will pinch the tire making it a little taller and could cause more rubbing versus getting some 17x9 rims that will make the tires wider with less rub. Trying to find the right balance.

Mine are KMC XD129 Holeshot wheels. You want narrower tires/wheels to rub less. When I was running 255/85/16 I had no rub and my shocks were only set at about 1.5" inches. When I went to 285 nitto ridge grapplers I had to raise them up and trim to make them fit even though they were the same height.

Duratracs are loud from day 1. I’ve ran ko2 for 15 years haven’t heard any of them ever. Why would you stay away from ko2?

Kelly tires makes the Edge MT that is basically a better Duratrac also made by Goodyear. I ran them years back with they were called the Safari TSR and were considered an AT. They had the same tread design and a slightly different sidewall. They were awesome tires for me in all conditions. Balanced well and rode very smooth on the HWY. Sizing is limited compared to other tires, though. Most sizes have 18/32" tread depth with lots of siping.
One size I thought is cool is their 285/70r17 which is D rated instead of E and only weighs 52lbs. [IMG]

Kenda Klever R/T is another good option from what I've read.
