I realized the other day I'm extremely out of practice lol , I've pretty much neglected my guitar for a couple years now , I'm planning on getting back into playing more regularly this year

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
I've developed right shoulder issues, and I can now play for about 5 minutes (acoustic) or 15 minutes (electric) before I'm in too much pain to continue. May be selling some of my guitars soon... I'll post them up here first. But here is my collection:

Not sure what I'm gonna keep versus sell, but if you see anything that you have questions about, ask!

scored this beaut on Friday from the local Craigslist. 1981 Ibanez Blazer Bass with original case. tracked down the original pickup on reverb.com and decided to keep the bridge, previous owner slapped on a Badass II!

The studio is less awkward. It's actually a sweet playing (and sounding) guitar. But everyone has their own tastes.

Just Picked up a 2017 Les Paul Brown Faded, Nitro finish smells sweet..
Also have a 2001 Special Edition LoneStar Strat I've had since 01, Believe it's a sienna burst, nitro finish sweet smell, has a pearl pick guard, dual Seymour Duncans at bridge.
Both play and feel/sound nice, with low action.
Have to post couple pics later.
Also just picked up a new Fender Blues Jr..
Trying to do a little pickin.

I love nitro. It's nice to let guitars breathe. Poly finish is "meh" and a nightmare to (attempt to) strip.

Yeah so do I, it kinda smells like vanilla/honey'ish.. Only thing is when they breath out of the case, the sweet smell starts fading after a while:(, at least to a degree.

My '11 LP Goldtop smelled so sweet for about two years. I took it apart for mods and a polish. Unfortunately, the wax overpowered the sweet nitro smell, but it sure is shiny!

Mmm, Nitro! I always thought it smelled like fresh baked cookies. Then again, it probably melts brain cells every time you sniff it. My 2014 SG and 2013 J-35 are long past the sweet smelling period. Everything else I have is poly. I once bumped my J-35 against the soft sole of my running shoe and it left a dent...that's nitro's downside compared to poly. Got any pics of the new LP?

A Guitar Thread on Tacoma World... sweeeet!

Anyways, hoping someone can help me... I have a VOX AC30 that quit working a couple years ago and has just been laying around.. ended up buying a new AC30. As I recall one day I turned it on and it just got really hot, and either made static or no sound at all.. cant remember. I was planning on repairing it but just want to sell it at this point. Does anyone have an idea of what it would be worth? Its about 6 years old... not sure if it would be a simple fix or not. The way I see it the Greenbacks alone are probably worth about 200 plus the cabinet itself... so maybe 250? Also, I'm in Washington State if anyone is interested.

Would the transformer be worth replacing, or do you think other components would have been damaged downstream?

FWIW, I sold that exact setup 10 years ago for $600 in 2 minutes. Coulda got 800 if I wasn't in a hurry. It was in great working condition. If I was you I'd take it in to any repair shop and get an estimate, it may be more than the transformer. Might have started there, but who knows what happened down the line.
