I read good things about them and I've been having grip issues with the ones I have no so figured they'd be a good choice

I follow R.J. Ronquillo on YouTube and he mentioned that they're his preference. I figured if he's recommending something as cheap as a specific pick it's worth trying it out.

I enjoy his gear reviews because he basically just jams with different settings on whatever he's demoing. He's got a great style.

    It's $380 for the 2x10, 100 watt.
    That's a badass amp.

One of the last times I was at Sweetwater, I had the left portion of the Electric guitar room by myself. Sat down and played one of these for atleast 40 minutes.

I just missed gearfest by a week and they still had the zz top car in the hallway after you come thru the front doors. Yngwie and a ton of people were there doing demos.

There's a used one on reverb for 290.00 or something with free shipping. It's in new York, I'm on the west coast, so not really trusting that it would make it unscathed. Probably scour the local pawn shops and check the local music stores when they reopen. Not pressing, my guitar is still about 3 weeks out.

    3 weeks?
I just ordered a midi cable from them last week. It came in a few days and you're way closer than I am to them.

Edit: nm, you're way on the west coast. Thought you were in NY.

I just read this from a 2013 forum. Back when they were $99. Now they are $199.

Maybe not such a good idea on a new guitar.

My local Luthier does my string change and setup for $70.

Even though Sweetwater does there setups and 55 point inspection or whatever, I've had to have a couple of them set up anyway.

My Jem77bfp that I got from them was plek'd. The plek job itself was fine but after having 2 setups by 2 different Luthier, I had to send it back.

Mind you, this was an Indonesian jem and not Japan. I think there was something wrong with it straight from the factory and not an issue with the plek or setups.
