I've heard very good things about these.

Teles are fantastic, straight workhorses. Been using a the same tele since 98 as my number 1. It’s taken a beating and still plays great, except for a much needed fret job.

Single/Single. Although its had a many different pickups thrown in it over the last two decades. Used noiseless, a vintage set, laced sensors, hot rails, a stacked humbucker for a while. I ran it like an esquire for a year at some point with something like a modded eldred wiring set up. About 6 years ago I found the original stock pickups and tossed those back in. I should replace the electronics as it is a scratchy noisy mess, but I’m just to damn lazy these days to care. Plus the ‘65 strat is still sitting in pieces.

Can't decide if I want to get that Hummingbird or the Ibanez AEG10. The only drawback of the Hummingbird is it's not a cutaway, but I'm not sure how often I'll actually be playing the higher frets anyway...

The Korean ones are ply bodies super light. If you swap out the electronics, tuners and pickups it’s a rocking guitar.

Well, I messaged the seller of the Hummingbird asking if we could do a cash deal and pickup in person. If I can get a good deal on it, gonna do that. Otherwise I'll probably get that AEG10. It coming with a case is definitely a nice bonus.

Just got these in. They're really small, but holy shit are they gripy. Feels almost like you're holding sand paper, it's a trip.

This is my first and I haven’t been able to put it down. I usually prefer strats but this one definitely has won me over.

Hummingbird seller said we could do a cash deal. Offered him 300 so we'll see what he says. For $12 more though I get the Ibanez and the case for it... I feel like they're both probably pretty solid guitars.

Listened to demos of both. Might be the quality of recording, but to me the hummingbird sounded just a bit better.

The listing is throwing me off... It looks... off. I don't know if it was a different model for the year or what, but the pickup looks different, the bridge/saddle is a bit different. It just doesn't seem right.

Here's what every one I've seen looks like: https://reverb.com/item/33019461-epiphone-hummingbird-pro-fc

Here's the one listed I'm looking to buy: https://reverb.com/item/32688424-ep...cherry-sunburst?review_page=3#reviews-section

also... the S/N looks weird too, like someone just put their own piece of paper on it. I don't get what's going on...

edit: I guess this is how the newer models are. Looks like the one listed for sale on Sweetwater: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/EEHBFCNH--epiphone-hummingbird-pro-faded-cherry-sunburst

Whatever you decide to do you should play them.
Or else you're going to be in the same spot as your other acoustic.
