I have too many guitars. I can't even fit them all in the closet anymore. Trying to sell two acoustics (Epiphone EL00 and Taylor 114e) and just get one small acoustic. I can't dare spare one electric, as they're all so important:
Tele, Jazzmaster, Les Paul, Casino, Dano-Pro, Mustang bass.

I'd like to try a Gretsch resonator and bite the bullet down the road for a Gibson acoustic. I'd also like to get ahold of a red or sunburst passive P-Bass special (Jazz neck, P-body, both pickups), but they don't turn up too often. I have a brand new G&G case waiting in my closet.

Here's an older pic of the music room before I sold the '98 natural finish Explorer. I miss that one for sure.

I like the Les Paul. A goldtop with P-90s is on my must have list. I just got my first Gibson acoustic, a J-35, and it was well worth it.

We used to have a wall of amps but I sold all the vintage (see: HEAVY) stuff over the last year. We stopped touring after the first kid and after the second kid, I hardly have a chance to touch this stuff, save for the occasional session gig. I've pared down my amps to an '03 Fender DRRI (my go-to amp since '06), and a Boothill Amps Champ kit I built in '13. I paired it with a Weber cab and 10" speaker. For bass I have an Ampeg Micro-VR head & 2x10 cab with an additional PF-115 cab when needed.

I'd like to check out the Ampeg GVT combos and possibly a Vox AC15.

I started on a Fender acoustic too, a 1990 F210. I played it so much I wore the frets down to the wood.

It's a great starter, given to me by a friend, I think I'll be moving onto either another fender with a lower bridge, or a schecter acoustic

You should be able to sand down the bridge saddle to lower it. Schecter makes acoustics? Are they black and pointy with skull inlays? Just kidding!

Been a while! I'm still hanging around here even though I traded in the 2016 Taco for a 4Runner.
