Ha I wish. On guitar. It sounds pretty similar tone wise to me. I’m a long ways from playing it perfectly anyways but it’s definitely recognizable! I gotta go pick some tires up for a friend and then I’ll upload the video I have to YouTube and post it here.

i just realized I was in my office for a good hour and a half playing nonstop haha.

    Nice work man.
We need more peeps to upload vids.
Novice to pros, we can all learn from each other.

I do detect a slight timing issue.

Kinda digging the unicorn in the window. Might go well with the 4 jeep doors in the living room.
    btw....cold AF drive home tonight.

Locked myself out of the house last night and called my buddy to help me pry the
garage door open at 1am so I can slide underneath.

House keys laying on the floor in da studio.

I just "relearned" this song today and recorded it right before I put down the guitar so I was a bit tired. I tried playing it when I first got the 339 and it was horrible. 100x worse than this. Not even recognizable. So this is huge improvement for me. I couldn't do the power chord shift from A5 to G5 to D5. I'm still struggling with it now, but I can occasionally get it pretty smooth so it's not a total missed note haha. I'm just stoked that I can play this whole song now. It's huge progress for me and makes playing so much more fun knowing I'm finally getting somewhere and actually playing music and not just strumming notes

I’ve been moving all week and been trying to get back in the groove of things. Strings buzzing all over the place. Yeesh.

So now that I’m potentially on the hunt for another guitar... what should I get? It’s going to mostly live in drop D or C for Royal Blood and similar types of music. I don’t want to spend a lot as I’m still not good enough, and I’m fine buying used off reverb, but I also don’t want to buy one of those Fender Squier starter guitars either.

scale length will be important here. something with a Fender length (25.5in) will feel more comfortable being tuned lower. that and heavier strings. i use 11.5 - 56 for drop C. fixed bridge will also be nice.

Some of those words I know what they mean

do you have any specific models you’d recommend? I know I need to (and will) go pick them up and get a feel for what’s comfortable before I buy, but I have no idea where to even start other than scale length

I'd give one of the $179 Kramer Baretta's a go. I have one I keep in eb for van Halen, AIC and other stuff.

I mean, it's $179. Buy some heavy strings, take it to your guy and have him set it up.

    Just ask @jungl.....oh, nm. :D

I’ll take a look. A buck 79 isn’t bad. Worst case I can probably sell it for close to what I paid I imagine.
