I bought $4 worth of stuff from Sweetwater and got a thank you sales call. And the free bag of candy. I appreciate that level of service, especially because he wasn't trying to sell me anything

I have had nothing, but postive experiences with Sweetwater. Most the time when I order something from them, it's on my doorstep the next day too. Fort Wayne is pretty close to me.

They are expanding the warehouse area as well and hiring. Used to hang out there for hours while I was on vacay.

Gearfest is great. They canceled this year because if Covid but they always have great performers to show off the newest gear.

just stumbled on this thread, but ive not been on here in years...

anyways i've been playing guitar (or attempting to) since 1986. saw a couple def leppard videos with phil collen playing a black ibanez destroyer ll and knew i had to learn. my parents got me a black cort effector (explorer clone) for my b-day and have been obsessed since. i currently own north of 35 guitars and 6 amps lol

Yeah it sorta takes me away but is also a good way to slowly work on my picking habits.

There’s a spot where I do a C/G and pick up the strings and back down again, I’m excited to have it somewhat down at this point.

lol..at first i hated the new bsg because they changed so much and so many characters. i gave it a chance and it is now one of my fav tv series of all time....about to watch it all over again for the 4th time lol.

fav characters in the new one is col. tigh and commander adama. almos was fantastic as was micheal hogan.
the orig version i loved starbuck...but what little kid didnt lol?

in the orig bsg cain was awesome, it was my fav episode and a 2 part...loved him in it. in razor they changed him to a she....and she was brutal!

incidentally i work for a handyman who cared for lorne greens costello island vacation home and got to go there, but unfortunately never got to meet him....would have been cool.
