Could be that then. Set ups are often pretty precise IMO.

I’d be interested to see if it alleviates itself with the old saddle.

I'll raise my hand and say that I don't use my pinky at all unless it's absolutely necessary.
It's my biggest downfall and probably the biggest reason that I don't progress as a guitar player.

Is it just me, or is the cost of everything going up on Reverb?

I get when something is rare it's gonna cost more, but I'm seeing like 20 or 30 of the same thing used that used to cost $400 is now $800.

And eBay. It's like everyone thinks they are gonna get top dollar for their shit.

On a different subject Reverb is like crack to guitarist. I just bought two pedals this week. Deals can still be had, but I had to do tons of searching.

I've heard that complaint, but it's not true. Everything that you save stays after you unplug it and power back on. I've reset about half of the presets with my own custom amp and pedal builds and they are always there when I fire it up. It is true that if you tweak the gain or level and then switch to a different patch without saving, it reverts back to the saved one though. But just hit save after making a change and you're good.

Could be low action, or could be that you need a fret dressing. Both are easy fixes, but I wouldn't do it yourself unless you know what you're doing.

One easy/harmless fix to try is remove the strings and then remove the bridge saddle (the white vertical piece that the strings run over) and insert a small shim under it before restringing. That will raise the action a little. You can buy a saddle shim, but a small piece of basswood or other wood with squared sides would work. I had a friend use a toothpick, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend that.

Idk if you saw my other posts, but I had bought a bone saddle and filed it down a bunch. The stock plastic saddle was too high, which I think the humidity swings caused it. I still have the stock plastic one that should be the right height now that the guitars been kept in a humidity controlled case that I’m going to swap back in.

That makes sense. Do you know where the buzzing is happening? If it's a lower fret area, the nut is probably low. If it's at the upper frets, the saddle is the culprit.

Can't say as I've had any issues with fed ex from sweetwater. I've had 5-6 things shipped from them.

All my other stuff, I just picked up while I was there. I'm sure it'll be fine.

Gonna be rain all weekend so I'm just gonna grab some cold cuts, party trays, beers and jam sesh all weekend.

Nice! I gotta swap this saddle out. The buzzing is driving me absolutely fucking insane. Hopefully I don’t break a string in the process lol
