What's your set up? Used to be a bit of an audiophile back in the day. Always think of getting back into it, really don't need another expensive hobby tho. Really love the sound of vinyl....

I used to exclusively use Technic 1200, Sure Needle, and Event ASP6 monitors. Think I had a Mackie mixer.

Now I'm using a belt driven table (Numark PT01), but it's nice and quiet and simple. Got a Kenwood amp and MB Quart speakers. I'm in and out of collecting vinyl. Now I'm getting heavy into it again. Just got All Them Witches new record and man does it sound great on Vinyl. So does Metallica's Black album.

I think I'm gonna get a set of studio monitors again. Possibly Events. I really like their sound and that they are so small.

Flipped the kit around today for a couple reasons.
Mainly so I can keep my cables to the 32 track off the floor and to also keep my usb midi plugged in all times ez drummer 2.

This way I can direct record to daw or I can direct record to the Tascam.

This is a temp solution as I'm drawing up plans to re configure the entire studio or move it to a spare bedroom in early spring.

Just gotta watch my head on that slanted ceiling. :headbang:.

Meh. I've slacked off on the beers quite a bit.
They tend to give me acid reflux.
A cup holder would be nice though.

Not happy with the drum set turned around.
    Just doesn't look proper.

Yup...the problem with E anything, even the guitars, is cabling. E Drums are the most evil, cable wise...its why I am always reluctant to post a pic...its a mess of cables...wiring to brain, wiring to pedals, wiring to pre-amp, wiring to amp, wiring to speakers...there is a price to pay when it comes to, shall we say, curb appeal.

Anr you have blue tooth! What i would do for bluetooth!

    Enjoy your kit brother!

But fuck off with the drum talk...this is a guitar sub eh

So yeah, unplugged all the pedals and then tested amp alone and on it's on plug. Totally fine. Put cellphone on top and unlock phone, all sorts of weird shit. I think I need a tin foil helmet haha!

As long as I keep my phone off the amp everything is fine aside from the crappy electical wiring in my old house hiss.
