If your tube amp has a point for bias adjustment, then they can be adapted to run hotter, cooler, or balanced. If it doesn't have a bias, then you def. want a tested and matched set, or else you'll keep burning one out before the other.

I want to warn everyone purchasing used guitars off the internet. I was almost duped for a signature series George Lynch model mr.scary/dem bones guitar for almost $7k.

Had my credit info all typed in and was about to purchase when I caught that it was a fake.

The top pic is an original Mr. Scary/dem bones guitar. The bottom one is a fake!!! I know it's hard to tell, but please.....doublecheck the authenticity of guitars before purchasing online.

I've been looking at "Let Go" app. Tons of guitars for sale. Craig's list.

I regret selling my '98 Korina explorer. Prices have gone up on them now. Doubt I'll ever get a deal on another. I'd like a Flying V sometime.

It played so well too. It was my Skynyrd guitar. I paid $300 with the original case. Sold it for $700. Now I see Epiphone re-reissued them. The '98 MIJ Korina's a getting sought after by collectors.

I probably regret selling an Ibanez Musician exactly like this one. My buddy used to play it in church and decided he wanted to play bass instead.
I think I gave him $400. Early 80's Japanese. Neck thru.

DUUUUUUUUUUUDE that is a swell axe. I love natural finish guitars. I've had OLD Epiphones, Gibson SGs, and Casinos that were natural finish. They're so classy with gold hardware.

Was married at the time. Lost my job and it went to a pawn shop for $100. 1994.

I've sold like 75% of my gear over the past two years. I'm not touring anymore, not playing with anyone locally. I do session work from time to time. I've lost my callouses on my fretting hand. I got so busy with work, school, and having babies. I'm hoping to set some time aside for some late night strumming now that I've cleaned out and organized the spare room. I'm down to 7 guitars, 1 bass, 1 bass amp, a spare bass cab, two tube guitar amps, and an old '70s combo organ.

    Edit: And my drumset.

    Right on.
I don't play for anyone but myself anymore.
That's if I can find time. Mostly it's just picking up and collecting things from Craigslist. Fiddling around with them and stuff.
I found a great site to pick up some specialty luthier tools. Maybe I'll look into that after retirement in a few years.

    Forgot.

Got a voice mail from my luthier, Dick Young today.
I was already passed out from working nite shift.
Anyway...their was some concern in his voice regarding my Jackson JSX that he's fitting a Floyd and New bridge pickup in. Hope he didn't run into any trouble but we shall see today.

Here's my first Guitar...I saved all my paychecks in Bootcamp (1978). When I my first chance to go off post I headed to a music store in Rolla , MO and bought this Ibanez Les Paul copy.
I wanted to buy a Gibson Les Paul Standard, but I was a few hundred bucks shy. The Japanese copy plays real well and sound great with DiMarzio Dual sound PU at the Neck... A Bill Lawrence at the bridge.

Right now I'm playing a Fender Bassbreaker 15w combo...Pure tube creaminess. And I was able to swing a beautiful Gibson Les Paul Standard with a AAA flame maple top in Desert Burst... I'll post up a photo later.
