I was not aware Guild was back. Last I heard Fender bought them and shut them down. This is dangerous. They have some new T-Bird models. Fred Cole (RIP) from Dead Moon played a HEAVILY modified (see: DESTROYED) T-Bird for many years.

Hmm..I does say they are backordered on Sweetwater. Guild's website is up and working.

This was like, 15 years ago. Fender also bought SWR, who made terrific bass amps and combos and subsequently shut them down.

Killing their competition. I personally want as many options as I can have.

Really like that Guild Polara. It sounds bad ass in the demos I've seen.

It's been a hot minute since I put my hands on one but I recall the necks being a bit flatter and fatter than a Gibson SG. Same with the similar Hagstrom reissues. Think between an Ibanez and a Gibson feel. I have scar tissue in my left palm, so I can't handle flat & wide necks without significant pain arrows radiating up my arm.

She's actually kind of a bad ass irl. Went to south America or some place like that to help take down a child sex trafficking ring. Played the part of someone looking to make a "purchase". Pretty sure shit wouldn't have ended well for her if they figured out what she was up to. Baddies down there don't fuck around...

was gonna say... you just described the neck on my Mira. bit fatter than what i'm used to, but i've always played super thin, flat shredder necks (Ibanez Wizard and just about every ESP i've owned).

I got custom 24 SE. The neck is exactly what sold me on PRS and how the string height wasnt super close to the body.

Man, I found a few Guilds, so tempted to pull the trigger on one.

Is this normal for the tremolo to go up this high when the strings are tuned?
