Any guitar players on TW?

I would skip that one. It's shady as hell.
It's also missing a fine tuner which is near impossible to find unless you buy a complete set, which is very pricey.

On top of that...theres no such color as atomic green.

 

I don't know if that white one is actually a comet, because there isn't a "comet white" listed on the chart like the others.

You're going to have to detune and add a spring or screw both claw screws in a full turn. Then retune and see how it looks.

Or just tune and play in Eb and see how it looks.

That's a gen 3 bridge, correct?
If you don't detune when adjusting the 6 countersunk screws, you could mar the knife edge. But those are set at the factory so I wouldn't mess with them.

But yea. Always detune when making adjustments. I believe the trem is suppose to be 1/16 off the body.

crazy....i just played this exact blue guitar today at a pawnshop. seemed decent, had a set neck and felt a lot like a gibson. not sure what it goes for, but they were asking $449.

 

sounds about right. Reverb is showing them from $499-$599.

 

this one was taken care of, no dings, cracks or chips. only thing was the pickup covers were dull and a little tarnished prob due to the owners acidic sweat.

if anyone is interested i could see what they would go down to. been dealing with them for a few years and usually get great prices and no taxes...

 

@Matic had to go two full turns until it kept tune and the bridge didn't float up.

Got her all set up. Took two turns on each screw to tighten the springs. It was set up with ultra light strings. I didn't realize that it would raise the bridge when I switched stings. Noob mistake, but I gotta learn.

My next guitar will not have a tremolo bridge. Thinking of getting an SG. Can never have enough guitars haha! I also want a parlor guitar.
