That's a beauty. I was just peeping all the different bassbreakers at guitar center website and almost every model they have is a "top seller". Some of the stand alone 2x12 cabs and a combo 2x12 head look like an awesome setup.

Also look at Reverb.com. Its a site dedicated to buying and selling music gear, especially guitars. I've sold lots of guitars on there and highly recommend it-just sold my 2013 Tele actually. Their fee is only 3.5%, which is a fraction of what eBay charges.

Well. Found out my Jackson build went to shit.
Said he was going to have to route the cavity some more to get the trem to fit.

I told him to just clean it up, tweak the shit trem the best he could and give it a full set up.

    Now I have a $300 Floyd paperweight.

Well, hopefully you can resell the Floyd at least. Or more likely...find another project to put it in!

Dang!!! if anyone is looking for a $200 shredder, reverb has a Dean dof for $200 + shipping.

This has been my current "grab and jam" axe since I purchased mine a couple months back. Set up properly and it's a screamer!!! I can hardly tell a difference in the Dean bridge pickup and my Dimebucker in my Dean camo.

Ive been working on "one" by Metallica" this morning. MAinly because everything was coming out of my Tascam sounded like mud lately.
The tone of my squire affinity is freaking perfect!!! But I get to the B minor triad and I am so lost. Timings off just a hair.
I cant figure out how to upload it. $120 guitar I gave to Dick and the action and sound is amazing.

I remember being 17 and finally nailing that tapping segment on my newly acquired (from the pawnshop) black LTD Explorer. I thought I was a teenage guitar god. Man oh man was I wrong.

matched power tubes are the way to go. more even wear and should last longer.

matched/ balanced preamp tubes are all hype.

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
Not only do you want balanced/matched tubes, be sure to bias them after install, and then again after 100 hours of use.

As some of you may know, Carvin Audio will be closing its doors soon. As a result, they are offering a liquidation sale.

Seems like I was a little too late in trying to get a backup tube amp. They are already sold out!

Wow. I thought Carvin had been out long ago.
They sure had sweet amps and guitars back in the day.

So, been a busy week for me. Still havnt picked up the Jackson from the shop but I found 2 great guitars on reverb.

1st pick is of the 1984 Ibanez RS catalog.
Looks like from left to right...is the line up as far as quality.
The green 1984 RS430 on the far left I've owned for 32 years. Absolutely amazing guitar. So easy to play.
I've painted it like 4 different times but the back of the neck and head stock are original forest green.

I purchased the 1984 royal violet RS440 yesterday. I'm still trying to figure out why it's the only guitar in the catalog that is facing backwards for some reason. It's in very good condition and shipped. Should be here Saturday.

And lastly...4th from the right...the 1884 RS530 trans red with black binding. Purchased just before I came into work tonight and has not shipped yet.
This was the finest example of the 5 rs530's on reverb. He actually had it listed as an "85" and I wasn't interested in it. After looking at the pics, the serial# on the neck plate clearly said "84", so I jumped on it. Can't wait for them to come in.

Nice catch! That one looks like a fun shredder.

I love Ibanez guitars, I just wish they sold a version of the Iceman with a FR. NEW.
