    Love playing Fade to Black.

Still need to learn the second (middle) and last outro solo.

I didn't even own it that long. I swapped the pickups to passive Alnico V's and changed the pots to 500k CTS pots. It didn't change the tone all that much so I figured the wood had something to do with it. It's super lightweight and I prefer something a little heavier. I love my les pauls. Didn't like that guitar nearly as much as I thought I would and I'm a huge Hetfield fan. Oh well. Get yourself a nice les paul and you'll never need anything else hahahaha

I play the S4!T out of Fade to black. I never post videos but maybe I'll do one of that sometime.

I've been a fan of EMG's for a long time and added them to all my guitars. The solderless sets are super easy to install which also is a plus for me along with some of the other accessories like the kill switch.

You have any experience with Fishmen pick ups? Never played a set myself but getting temped to get a set - Probably moderns to start before I go down the road of any signature sets. They sounds great from what I've heard but also not sure how much of the voicings I would use.

The first song I taught myself when I got back into guitar. I just like the accoustic part on the beginning. I can finger pick it and hybrid pick it. Took me a long time to learn, but figured if I can learn that, it will teach me a lot.

The acoustic part is great to just noodle over.

RIGHT! I keep my acoustic in my office when I need a "work break". My first Metallica sing I learned was For whom the Bell tolls, perfect song to start with.

I've never been a finger pick person so I suck at it. Should start at some point, it's a good, versatile skill to have.

I haven't tried any Fishman pickups. I wanted to try the Fluence and I actually have played them through a Satchel Signature Charvel guitar but nothing stood out about them to me. I have Bareknuckle Abraxes in my #1 les paul and they're vintage voiced Alnico IV's and I absolutely love them.

Do it! It changes the way you connect with your guitar. Appregios become effortless. I got so used to it at one point I was forgetting how to use a pick.

I basically finger pick on my accoustic and use a pick on my electrics.

    Nice!
    All good choices!!!!

My idea of a good time is just having fun covering the old classics LOUDLY.
Solos still arent clicking for me, never did, sometimes the shapes and patterns jump out off the fretboard and I can see them ... then fade away.
Working on a couple yeah lol
    Always adding more.

All solid choices! have most of those on the play list. Been thinking about let it go, but gonna start with this as it's more my skill level.

And by the way, aren't rock video chicks supposed to be hot? I mean isn't it like federal law, war crime, or something? The black chick is okay, the rest need to crawl back to the sewer...

My pup just finally took a nap. She's at the age where she fights to go to sleep when she's tired.
