Local music shop. I picked it up at the shop. They have a lot of sales on Reverb. My only thought is maybe they had another and mixed the pictures up? Because like I said, the "serial number" label in their pic matches mine, but the headstock doesn't. But it's also strange that they would cover the serial number with a piece of labelmaker with some random number too. But I looked at their other listings and it looks like most of their acoustics have the same thing. Take a look at this Listing and you'll see they have the same color over where the SN should be

Ya, i can understand the serial number being a separate application than the standard label...its mass produced.

    Neck...?

Lesson learned...not an expensive lesson as the guitar plays well.

It's just odd that they have so many with the same thing. And it starts with "311" which is what mine did. I wonder if they get in factory seconds or blemished guitars like this and then sell them as "mint" without actually putting that information out there. They do have some other guitars listed with the SN properly written on them.

Ya, I won't purchase anything from them again. The guitar does play well though and I haven't had any complaints. Although, I need to go swap my stock saddle back in though because the buzzing is horrendous. I just ordered 2 new sets of strings so I'll probably go and try to swap it out today and if (when) I break the strings swapping it I should at least have new strings in the next few days hah

Anyone recognize this guitar? I think it’s a Washburn from the 90s?

    I'm confused.
You bought it "mint" thru zZOUNDS and had it shipped to your local guitar store?

Or they found one on reverb in "mint", pointed it out to you, and they ordered for you?
zZOUNDS has a great reputation. I've purchased from them.

Did your local music store order it, then do a bait and switch? Gave you a factory 2nd and kept the mint one?

Whatever link you're looking at that I gave, is not showing the proper ad that I had purchased from (likely because I bought it 6 months ago so the ad is gone, but I can still see the post since I was the purchaser). The store I bought it from on Reverb is called Ace Music and it's local to me (Irvine, CA).

Yes, I agree on the link. All of mine show up but no one else can see the original ad.

    Gotcha.
Still doesn't make sense with the serial # being correct with the ad but the headstock doesn't match.

Ya, I posted pics from the actual ad though. I think maybe they mixed up some pictures of the headstock, because the rest of it looks like my guitar I have now. So not sure if it was intentional shady-ness from them or if it was an unintentional error on the picture upload. The SN part is the most concerning though. They just cover up where the SN should be and put some random ass numbers. It makes no sense.

Ok I switched back to the stock saddle 2 things.
    1. The action is too high again. I need it ever so slightly lower.

    2. holy shit it sounds AWFUL compared to the bone saddle. I think I need to get a legit one done up. The tone drastically changed for the worse

Sleep in. Practice. Need to tidy up garage and make a dump run. Hope to start getting wife's shit out of my future jam room so I can get to work on that.
