I honestly don't understand why people dump money into single pedals.
With the tech today with multi units, ie.. kemper, Eleven rack, boss, mooer, zoom etc. You can buy a rack mount unit from $200-$2000
Even the old 80's ART units and Zoom units can produce sounds comparible to todays pedals.
Ive seen single pedals go for $300 plus.

Not hating on you pedal guys. Its a financial thing.

Picked up some Wilkinson tuners for the red Kramer.
Hopefully the dog ear screw hole is the correct angle and fixes the issue that the w. German Schaller m6 have.

Haven't had the best experience with multi-effects units, plus if the thing fails at a show (re: i spill beer on it) i'm fucked for the night. It's easier for me to isolate the problem and remove/ replace a single pedal. Also, there are a lot of niche builders (Alexander, Dr. Scientist, Montreal Assembly, etc.) that make really unique pedals that aren't popular or cost effective enough to throw into a multi-fx unit.

I like the idea of using old analog equipment. I still play vinyl too.

Plus it's sweet to so what these electrical engineer guys come up with.

To each his own though. As long as you're happy is all that matters.

    Makes sense.
Reminds me about an old article in GPM way back in the 80's. The title was called "How to avoid a train wreck on stage".
It went onto list several scenarios of what and what not to do during live shows in case something goes wrong.
ie: broken string, amp failure, pedal, cable failure, Drunk band member. Etc.

pretty much have had all that happen to me at one point. also overpowered a bar with shit wiring and kept blowing the breaker every couple songs. once a drunk crowd member fell and in trying to regain their balance, tackled our other guitarist into the drum kit.

i usually have a spare guitar just in case. it's easier to just grab another instead of restringing mid-set. sometimes i bring an extra amp and now i really want to get one of those Quilter amps as a backup (small, high-powered SS amp that actually sounds good).

I work with lazy, certified morons. Just found out 3 of our semi trucks, in the last month, BOOM, blown motors due to idiots not checking oil. Don't know which idiots, a lot of these guys share trucks throughout the week so there's more than just 3 guilty parties. Worst case, completely new engines run 10k each minimum. Haven't heard anything on that front. Management is not much better, it took 3 blow ups before they said anything! You'd think the first one would have been red alert check your oil assholes. Oh, and those drivers still have jobs...
